Conceived for Aesop on Flinders Lane, Radiomatique presents a retail environment in which music and skincare converge to enrich both body and mind. The store is imagined as a sonic sanctuary—an immersive setting that extends Aesop’s sensorial philosophy beyond the tactile and olfactory into the auditory realm.
Within this carefully composed interior, guests are invited to engage with Aesop’s meticulously crafted formulations while enveloped by curated playlists, evocative mixtapes, and the narrative soundscapes of Future Fables. Each auditory layer is calibrated to resonate emotionally, transforming the act of retail into a multisensory experience that unfolds over time rather than at first glance.
Subtle references reward closer observation. The bespoke shelving system draws inspiration from the sculptural form and materiality of Bang & Olufsen Beovox speakers circa 1985—an understated homage that reinforces the project’s dialogue between sound, craft, and design heritage.
