In collaboration with Made For, we conceived a new workplace for IVE Group, Australia’s largest marketing communications company. Drawing on the organisation’s more than 100-year legacy—rooted in print—we developed a spatial concept inspired by printer’s marks and the CMYK colour palette.

Colour is deployed as an abstract wayfinding device, with distinct hues denoting different work modes and zones, from deep focus and collaboration to social engagement and presentation. This chromatic strategy operates as a spatial metaphor, informing both the planning logic and the aesthetic language of the workplace, while reflecting IVE’s heritage and culture in print marketing.

The concept is counterbalanced by a robust material expression of stainless steel and integrated digital AV, signalling a confident embrace of the future without relinquishing the past. The result is a workplace that is contemporary and forward-looking, yet grounded in the company’s enduring identity.
