The brand identity for Winsor Kerr is grounded in authorship and partnership. As a small practice, the studio’s public presence is a direct extension of its leadership, and the identity reflects this intimacy—drawing from the shared values, relationships, and cultural context that define the practice.

At the centre of the system is a bespoke ligature that unites the letters W and K. More than a graphic device, the mark symbolises partnership on multiple levels: professional and personal, distinct yet inseparable. Two individual forms are brought together to operate as a single, cohesive entity—reflecting a practice built on collaboration, trust, and shared vision.

As an architecture studio led by and dedicated to Indigenous architects and Indigenous architecture, material and colour decisions are informed by Country. The palette is deliberately earthy and grounded, while paper stocks are sourced from Indigenous suppliers, reinforcing a commitment to cultural continuity and the support of broader Indigenous business networks.

The result is an identity that is restrained yet deeply considered—one that communicates unity, respect for place, and a practice shaped as much by relationships and responsibility as by design itself.
